I had the pleasure of being contacted by Erica Jefferson from Sour Punch Studio on Etsy. She found me via Pinterest and asked me to help style her new Circus Printable Party Package (coming soon on her Etsy shop). I had a blast working on this mock party set-up.
I also have to give a HUGE THANK YOU to The Cake Mamas for creating a JAW-DROPPING piece of art/cake showcasing Erica's cute graphics from the Circus Printable Party Package.
The Cake Mamas did a perfect job of bringing Erica's artwork to life in an "out of this world" cake. I love all the gold detailing, but my absolute favorites are the tickets, the seal and the elephant cake topper, all from the Sour Punch Studio circus package. They even have "water" coming out of the elephant's trunk just like in the artwork. No details were missed on this one!
The purpose for starting this blog is to document my journey of planning beautiful parties. I have learned during this process to surround myself with amazing people! I am so blessed to have such supportive friends and family who help me with my projects. Thank you very much to Loretta and Dave Cordova for your endless help and the use of your home, Amber Quinn for your beautiful photos and adorable boys, Lauren Foerch for being a great little model, Maria "Cookie" Garcia for teaching me how to sew table cloths, runners, banners, and most especially the pink scalloped trim, Taylor for helping me to not go overboard and Joe Diaz for always helping me whenever I need. Again, I am so appreciative for this opportunity and can't wait to do more of these!
